AllAbilitiesActive Final Transnational Project Meeting Held in Portugal

The Final Transnational Project Meeting of the AllAbilitiesActive: Crafting Inclusive Outdoor Sporting Experiences project was held in Portugal on 20 May 2026 with the participation of all project partners.

The meeting brought together the partner organisations to review the overall implementation process, evaluate the completed project activities and discuss the final steps before the official closure of the project. As an Erasmus+ Sport project, AllAbilitiesActive aims to enhance the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in outdoor sports by developing practical resources for educators, trainers, coaches and parents.

The programme started with the opening of the final meeting and the presentation of the agenda by CEBDER. Following the opening session, each partner presented the activities carried out within their organisations, including workshops for parents, train-the-trainers activities, inclusive sport events and multiplier events. These presentations provided an opportunity to share national experiences, implementation results and the impact of the project activities in different local contexts.

In the next session, all partners presented their dissemination activities. The partnership discussed how the project results were promoted through local events, institutional networks, online platforms, social media channels and stakeholder engagement activities. This session highlighted the importance of visibility, sustainability and wider use of the project outputs beyond the project lifetime.

One of the key agenda items of the meeting was the introduction of the Online OER Platform. CEBDER presented the platform, which provides direct access to the main project deliverables, including the Best Practices Booklet, Inclusive Sport Programme, Guide for Trainers and Bite-sized Recommendations for Parents. The partners discussed how the platform can be disseminated more effectively and used by teachers, trainers, coaches and parents as a sustainable learning resource.

The meeting also included discussions on management, financial issues, dissemination reporting, next tasks and upcoming deadlines. Partners reviewed the final responsibilities and agreed on the necessary steps to complete the project successfully.

The Final TPM was an important opportunity for the partnership to evaluate the achievements of AllAbilitiesActive and to strengthen the sustainability of the project results. Through the resources developed and shared within the project, AllAbilitiesActive will continue to support inclusive, accessible and engaging outdoor sporting experiences for students with intellectual disabilities.

The project partnership would like to thank all partners, educators, trainers, coaches, parents, students and stakeholders who contributed to the successful implementation of the AllAbilitiesActive project.
